Altona Football Club, a respected club with over a century of history, is preparing for a significant new phase. We invite applications for coaches to lead our Reserves and U18.5 teams in 2026.
These roles present an excellent opportunity to join a progressive club comprised of talented young players and established volunteer caretakers.
We are seeking individuals who are not only focused on immediate objectives but are also devoted to fostering the long-term development of our playing group. Candidates with a passion for mentoring footballers and who find genuine satisfaction in witnessing talent and teams flourish will enjoy an ideal environment at Altona. Our club is committed to building robust pathways for player advancement at all levels, ensuring that we remain the destination for our juniors and an attractive choice for external players. Prioritising development and sustained competitive success are essential.
We encourage autonomy and innovation, so whether you choose to lead independently or collaborate with a team of assistants, your vision and methods will be valued and supported. We appreciate coaches who combine technical expertise with a commitment to motivating others and who are eager to contribute to shaping the next era of Viking football.
Most importantly, we seek applicants who demonstrate energy, resilience, and unwavering dedication to our club’s culture. If you are prepared to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Altona’s footballers, we encourage you to apply.
